Hello, my name is Mei Ling Toy, and I’ve been a dedicated massage therapist for over 18 years in the Atlanta area. I received my training at Rising Spirit Institute, where I specialized in neuromuscular therapy. Early in my career, I worked for four years alongside a chiropractor, focusing on rehabilitating clients recovering from injuries and managing spinal conditions such as degenerative disc disease and whiplash.Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise by studying various therapeutic modalities, including acupressure, lymphatic drainage technique, arthritis massage, cupping therapy, and hot stone therapy. My approach to massage is rooted in a holistic perspective, addressing both physical and emotional aspects of well-being. Currently, I'm advancing my studies in somatic therapies, exploring how to integrate talk therapy, energy healing, and stress-reducing techniques into my practice.
I’m passionate and committed to helping my clients find the root cause of their aches and pains. By providing guidance on body mechanics, posture, ergonomics, and personalized stretching and strengthening exercises, I aim to empower my clients to achieve long-term wellness and full-body vitality.

Hello and welcome!
My name is Alexis Archer Shanks. My passion is helping others remove the emotional energy trapped in the body from unpleasant experiences from the past and connecting with living a guided life.
We all have intrinsic abilities and defining it helps to refine it.
What is your clair? I am “claircognizent” and “clairsentient” meaning that I am driven by an awareness and connection through feeling.
By practicing listening to our bodies through paying attention to the way we FEEL. We are able to release baggage and expand our growth. Somatic Healing is the study of the mind- body connection and the relationship between thoughts, emotions, beliefs and physical sensations of the body. This connection recognizes that mental and emotional states can affect physical health and vice versa.
Healing on a soul level promotes healing in the body. We might call this kind of healing “Epiphany driven healing”.
Emotion Code Therapy promotes a parasympathetic trauma release, from trapped emotions, inherited trauma and unpleasant experiences from the past. With Emotion Code we remove any stored emotional baggage from the body healing old wounds and aiding the body into balance.
If you’d like to work toward refocusing your core beliefs we can resume with creating a personal practice.
We work towards creating new neural pathways that will provide new and empowering programs within the deep layers of our being. Once the subconscious mind is on board it will do everything to execute it in reality.
In a state of ALLOWING, the focus is to develop a practice that becomes a regular activity until it comes without a lot of thought or effort, much like the urge to drink water.
Education and Background: I was first inspired by Children’s spirituality from psychology professor, Dr. Tobin Heart who was in the process of writing a book exploring and researching children’s experiences with spiritual connection. I was hooked and joined the phenomenology department at the State University of West Georgia. After graduation I moved to North Carolina where my family owned and operated, The Stillpoint Center. It is there where I began learning about the business behind the type of work I was was drawn to.
As I continued my studies further I was drawn to take a closer look at energy transfer.
Starting with massage, I was accepted into the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts, ASHA, in 2007.
Through 17 years of focused massage experience, I expanded my studies with education in cranio- sacral therapy, cupping, nutrition, EFT tapping therapy, kinesiology/ muscle testing and meditation. I became an attuned Reiki master in 2017.
I was driven to explore emotional trauma, frequency medicine and removing energy from the body. This is where the work really began to take shape.
I became an Emotion Code Practitioner which quite literally changed my life.
Losing a dear friend unexpectedly, my expansion work kicked into high gear. I was surrounded by loss. I was able to tap in, metabolize the grief and connect in a way that simply felt more guided.
Summer of 2020 lead me to supporting those struggling with mental health. I began offering zoom Emotion Code sessions mostly working with young adults and teens looking for connection and support. I was amazed how they were able to enhance their internal guidance system with trauma release and through tools like muscle testing and journaling.
I’ve been working with clients for 17 years. Through this experience I’ve gained knowledge and insight I’m so thankful I get to share with those interested in this kind of healing and connection.

Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a form of soft tissue manipulation that aims to treat underlying causes of chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous systems. Together, we will address trigger points (tender muscles points), circulation, nerve compression, postural issues, and biomechanical problems that can be caused by repetitive movement injuries. Among many other benefits, massage promotes flexibility, reduces fatigue, improves endurance, helps prevent injuries and prepares the body and mind for optimal performance by aiding and familiarizing the body with functioning in a parasympathetic state by bringing the body back to balance.
60 Min Massage $130
90 Min Massage $165
Massage Cupping is a contemporary form of vacuum therapy which aids the body by reducing inflammation, increasing circulation, and assisting in breaking up scar tissue from old injuries or surgeries (C-section scars, burns, plastic surgery recovery). It is an amazing healing tool which offers fast pain relief. The suction lifts the tissue, creating space to allow oxygenated blood to flow in as it helps the lymphatic system to flush toxins out. This process allows the body to better absorb nutrients and water, hydrating the body to decrease inflammation and increase overall wellness. An added bonus is that it can reduce the appearance of cellulite, aid in facial rejuvenation, and offer relief of sinus pressure. It is an extremely relaxing service, helping to reduce anxiety and insomnia by creating a sedating affect on the nervous system.

Stand alone Session $110
Hot stone massage can relieve pain and tension in your muscles due to the combination of massage therapy and heat. Heat is often recommended as a way to treat achy muscles. Applying heat to an area of the body helps increase blood flow to that spot, which improves healing.

Stretching improves flexibility, reduces muscle tension, and increases blood circulation, which can lead to better overall mobility and reduced risk of injury. Somatic healing, which focuses on the mind-body connection, helps individuals release stored tension and trauma, fostering emotional resilience and self-awareness. Together, these practices promote relaxation, alleviate stress, and encourage a deeper understanding of one’s body. By integrating stretching and somatic techniques into daily routines, individuals can cultivate a greater sense of harmony and balance, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.
What if it’s possible you can balance the body, mind and soul freeing yourself from the trapped emotions you’ve picked up throughout the years. Virtual sessions are some of my most powerful sessions. Energy knows no bounds, so, much like prayer you can send and receive when you are not in the same physical space. I believe connection is even greater per both participants are in their personal space which often leads to less resistance and further allowing.
Zoom session: $85
